Twelve years ago today, my friend Ben King got us surprise tickets to a Weird Al concert. We had a great time, but while returning home, we got into a car accident, and he died. Because of this, I will commemorate his death as i do every year at this time. Tune in and share the vibes.

Go Over the Edge right now, and every Thursday night / Friday morning, at 03:00 A.M. eastern time, 12:00 A.M. pacific time. For years, Negativland has produced this wonderful show on KPFA, Berkeley. I consider them masters of sound collage. Enjoy the unauthorized simulcast. I doubt they’d care. After all, to quote them, “Copyright infringement is your best entertainment value.”
